Pere Joan Ravetllat

PhD Architect. Chair of Architectural Design at ETSABarcelona. Master of Science at Columbia University N.Y. 1986. PhD. of Architecture at UPC in 1994. Professor of UPC in 2017. In charge of the course Housing and City (Habitatge i Ciutat). Author of multiple monographies in the topic of dwelling. Director of the Architectural Rehabilitation and Restoration Research Group at MBArch, ETSAB, UPC. Coordinator of the Research Group REARQ. Ravetllat has contributed to national and international magazines with written articles and architectural projects carried out together with Carme Ribas until 2017.

Jordi Badia

Architect. Director of the architectural firm BAAS. Badia has given lectures and organized workshops and design studios in different Architectural Schools, amongst them: Hong Kong, Trieste, Zagreb, Belgrade, Budapest, Toulouse, Munich and Ljubljana. Awarded AR+d (Architectural Review) in 2011 for the Funeral Parlour in León. Awarded Catalonia Construction Prize in 2008 for the courts in Sant Boi. Awarded Barcelona City Council Award in 2009 for the museum Can Framis. Co-curator of the Catalan Pavillion in the Venice Biennale 2012 with the exhibition “Vogadors / Architectural Rowers”.

Arquitecte. Dirigeix l’estudi d’arquitectura BAAS. Ha impartit conferències i organitzat tallers a diferents escoles d’Arquitectura entre les que destaquen: Hong Kong, Trieste, Zagreb, Belgrade, Budapest, Toulouse, Munich i Ljubljana. Pau Bajet

Architect. Teaching Fellow of Architectural Design at ETSAB and of Social Logics at MIAD, ETSALS. Previously he has been a Visiting Lecturer at the Birmingham BCU and Teaching Assistant at LondonMet. PhD candidate at LondonMet. Awarded ‘La Caixa’ Fellowship 2015. After working for David Chipperfield Architects in London, Bajet co-founded the architectural studio Bajet Giramé in 2017, whose work has been awarded with the Young Architects AJAC Award (2018 and 2020) and the Gold Award Best Architects (2017).

Arquitecte. Professor de Projectes a l’ETSAB. Prèviament ha sigut Professor Visitant a la Birmingham City University (BCU) i Professor Assistent a la Sir John Cass Faculty of Arts, Architecture and Design de la LondonMet (CASS), al Regne Unit. Doctorat Projectual en curs dirigit per Florian Beigel i Philip Christou al CASS (la Caixa Fellowship). Després de treballar per David Chipperfield, co-funda l’estudi Bajet Giramé el 2016.

Conxita Balcells

Architect. Director of Conxita Balcells Associats, an architectural firm focused on public buildings, whose most representative work over the past years consists of social housing and public facilities. A number of these recent projects have been acknowledged in professional awards as well as distinguished by the civic society. Balcells is a Teaching Fellow of Architectural Design at ETSAB since 1993, teaching at Eduard Bru’s chair and at the “Gran Escala” Master Workshop in several cities (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Athens, Naples, Venice), after formerly having been assistant of Dominique Perrault at the Mies Van der Rohe chair. Internationally, Balcells has been invited one semester at the North Polytechnic London, at the Washington University of Sant Louis and gave the year’s opening lecture at the School of Archtiecture and Urbanism at the National University of Colombia, based in Manizales.

Arquitecte. Encapçala l’estudi d’arquitectura conxitabalcellsassociats dedicat principalment a projectes d’obra pública, sent els habitatges socials i els equipaments públics els més representatius dels darrers anys. Part d’aquesta feina ha estat reconeguda per la professió i per la societat civil.
Ha impartit classes a l’ETSAB des del 1993 a la càtedra del professor Eduard Bru i al taller del Màster la Gran Escala a diferents ciutats (Xangai, Hong Kong, Atenes, Nàpols, Venècia). Ha sigut assistent de l’arquitecte Dominique Perrault a la càtedra Mies Van der Rohe.
A nivell internacional, ha estat convidada un semestre al North Polytechnic London, a la Washington University a Sant Louis i va impartir la conferència inaugural de l’Escola d’Arquitectura i Urbanisme de la Universitat Nacional de Colòmbia, amb seu a Manizales.

Carles Enrich

Architect. Combines professional activity with teaching and research. Teaching Fellow of Architectural Design at ETSAB and of Urbanism and Design at the School of Architecture of Reus (EAR-URV). Master’s Degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design at the UPC. PhD. in progress titled “Comerç itinerant i ciutat en moviment”. Enrich has had award-winning work and projects which have been internationally exhibited. Awarded Young Architects AJAC award in 2012 and 2014. Awarded first prize in Europan 2013. Awarded Awarded Catalonia Construction Prize in 2016. Awarded FAD’s Public Choice Award in 2016.

Arquitecte. Combina l’activitat professional amb la docència i la recerca. Professor de Projectes a l’ETSAB i Professor de Projectes i Urbanisme a l’Escola d’Arquitectura de Reus (EAR-URV). Marta Peris

PhD Architect. Teaching Fellow of Architectural Design at ETSAB since 2002. PhD in Architecture at UPC in 2016 with the thesis titled “La casa japonesa a través del cine de Yasujiro Ozu”. Peris has contributed to multiple magazines with written articles in the subjet of dwelling and built work carried out by her award-wining firm Peris-Toral since 2005

Arquitecta i professora de Projectes a l’ETSAB. En 2016 va presentar la seva tesi doctoral «La casa japonesa a través del cine de Yasujiro Ozu», publicada el 2019 sota el títol «La casa de Ozu». Autora de diversos articles sobre el tema d’habitar i cofundadora de l’estudi Peris + Toral, especialitzat en habitatge, les seves obres han estat reconegudes amb diferents premis i exposades a París 2009, a Tòquio 2011, a Venècia 2000 i 2016, a Mendrisio 2013, a Ginebra 2015, a Zuric 2016, a Brussel·les 2017 i a Bordeus 2021.

Pablo Roel

Architect. Teaching Fellow of Architectural Design at ETSAB and of Urbanism and Design at the School of Architecture of Reus (EAR-URV). Roel has a Master’s Degree in Theory and Practice of Architectural Design at the UPC. After working in Lausanne and Madrid for Richter & dahl Rocha and for Rafael Moneo, Roel co-founded the firm Roel Sánchez Architecture, focused on the development of projects and competitions, mainly in the area of collective housing.

Arquitecte. Professor associat al Departament de Projectes de l’UPC i professor de Projectes i Urbanisme a l’Escola d’Arquitectura de Reus-URV. Màster en Teoria i Pràctica del Projecte Arquitectònic de la UPC. Després de treballar a Lausanne i a Madrid per Richter & dahl Rocha i Rafael Moneo, co-funda l’estudi roel sánchez arquitectura, dedicat al desenvolupament de projectes i concursos, principalment, a l’àmbit de l’habitatge col·lectiu

Xavier Ros

Architect. Graduated at ETSAVallès. Founding partner of HARQUITECTES along with David Lorente, Josep Ricart and Roger Tudó. Curator of the blog ‘Arquitectures234.blogspot.com’. Teaching Fellow of Architectural Design at ETSABarcelona. Invited at multiple national and international Universities. The work of HARQUITECTES has been acknowledged in multiple awards, both for their built work and competition entries, it has been published in national and international magazines, having been selected for different exhibitions and invited to give lectures in events across Europe and America.

Arquitecte. Llicenciat a l’ETSAVallès. Soci fundador d’HARQUITECTES juntament amb David Lorente, Josep Ricart i Roger Tudó. Creador del blog ‘Arquitectures234.blogspot.com’. Professor associat al Departament de Projectes de l’ETSABarcelona. Convidat a diverses universitats nacionals i internacionals. L’obra d’HARQUITECTES ha merescut el reconeixement de diversos premis, tant per obra construïda com en concursos de idees, i la publicació en mitjans nacionals i internacionals, havent estat seleccionats per a diferents exposicions i convidats com conferenciants en esdeveniments a Europa i Amèrica.
